I have been struggling with options for revenue for my blog, The Learned Fangirl for about a year now. I have been very picky about choosing an ad network, as I wanted to be sure to choose something that didn’t run counter to the goals of the blog. I am still unsure about the role of sponsored content on the site, and whether I want to have it at all. The blog is 6 years old now, we have 3 editors, regular writers and good traffic. It took a long time to build because everyone involved sees it as a labor of love. So I don’t want to mess that growth up, because I am proud of TLF and what we do. Getting close to making a decision and an initial first step about revenue and I really hope it’s the right one.
